Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, chopped
  • Mushrooms - 200 grams, sliced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, chopped
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Vegan cheese - 100 grams (optional)
  • Tomato sauce - 4 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Allow them to sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent.
  4. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chili, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced mushrooms, bell pepper, and chopped tomato. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.
  6. Sprinkle in the coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the chopped coriander leaves.
  8. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  9. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the pizza base, followed by the mushroom mixture.
  10. If using, sprinkle vegan cheese on top.
  11. Transfer the pizza onto a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
  12. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
