Steps
- Heat oil in a kadai or deep pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute until the raw smell disappears.
- Add the diced chicken and cook for about 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally until the chicken is browned.
- Mix in the chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes break down and the oil starts to separate, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the diced green bell pepper and garam masala, stirring well to combine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the bell pepper is slightly tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
