  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a kadai or deep pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
  3. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
  4. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  5. Add the diced chicken pieces and sauté until they are lightly browned.
  6. Mix in the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  7. Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt; mix well.
  8. Add the diced bell peppers and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they are slightly tender.
  9. Sprinkle garam masala over the curry and mix well; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
