- Honey - 1 tablespoon

- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon

Steps
- Rinse the wild rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a medium pot, combine the rinsed wild rice and 500 milliliters of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 30 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.
- While the rice is cooking, prepare the berry mixture by combining the mixed berries, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Gently mash the berries with a fork to release their juices.
