  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Rinse the wild rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring the vegetable broth to a boil, then add the rinsed wild rice.
  3. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 35-40 minutes or until the rice is tender and has absorbed most of the broth.
  4. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
