Ingredients

  • Venison steak - 250 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons (chopped, for garnish)

Steps

  1. Slice the venison steak into thin strips, about 1 cm wide.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Add the venison strips to the marinade and toss until evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil if needed.
  5. Add the marinated venison strips to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.
  6. Remove the strips from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
