- Cauliflower - 300 grams
- All-purpose flour - 4 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Rice flour - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 inch piece, grated
- Green chilies - 2, finely chopped
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato ketchup - 2 tablespoons
- Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Red bell pepper - 1, diced
- Oil - for frying
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Wash and cut the cauliflower into small florets.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, rice flour, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and black pepper.
- Add water gradually to the mixture to form a thick batter.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat and fry the battered cauliflower until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In another pan, heat a little oil and sauté the chopped green chilies and diced red bell pepper for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the fried cauliflower to the pan and stir in soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, and mix well.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
