- Fresh mint leaves - 30 grams
- Fresh coriander leaves - 15 grams
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons (for brushing)
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Cut the fish fillets into 2-inch cubes and set aside.
- In a blender, combine mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, green chili, lemon juice, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth to form a marinade.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the fish cubes with the marinade. Ensure the fish is well coated and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Thread the marinated fish cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Brush the kebabs with vegetable oil and place them on the grill or in the oven.
- Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until the fish is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
