Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Potatoes (boiled and peeled) - 200 grams
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Tomato (finely chopped) - 1 medium
  • Green chili (finely chopped) - 1
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cheese (mozzarella or Indian cheese) - 150 grams
  • Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Pizza sauce - 4 tablespoons
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili, then sauté for another minute.
  4. Add the boiled and peeled potatoes, breaking them into small pieces. Mix in coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the spices to coat the potatoes well.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped tomatoes and fresh coriander leaves. Set aside to cool slightly.
  6. Roll out the pizza dough into a round shape, about 10 inches in diameter, and place it on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  7. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  8. Spread the spiced potato mixture over the pizza sauce.
  9. Sprinkle the cheese generously over the potato mixture.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  11. Once baked, remove from the oven, sprinkle with chaat masala, and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  12. Serve hot, garnished with additional coriander if desired.
