Ingredients
- Puri (small crispy shells) - 10 pieces
- Chickpeas (cooked) - 100 grams
- Red onion (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Yogurt (plain, Kosher) - 150 grams
- Tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoons
- Mint chutney - 2 tablespoons
- Sev (crispy chickpea noodles) - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the cooked chickpeas, chopped red onion, coriander leaves, cumin powder, chaat masala, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth. Adjust the seasoning with salt if necessary.
- To assemble, take a puri and carefully break the top to create a small opening. Fill it with the chickpea mixture until just full.
- Place each filled puri into a shot glass for support. Repeat until all puris are filled.
- Top each puri with a dollop of yogurt, followed by a drizzle of tamarind and mint chutney.
- Sprinkle sev on top for added crunch.
