Ingredients

  • Tomato - 50 grams, finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Yogurt - 200 grams, whisked
  • Mint chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Sev (crispy chickpea noodles) - 30 grams

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed boiled potatoes, chopped onion, chopped tomato, coriander leaves, cumin powder, chaat masala, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Take each puri and gently crack the top to create an opening. Fill each puri with the potato mixture using a spoon.
  3. Drizzle a generous amount of whisked yogurt over the filled puris, covering them well.
  4. Add mint chutney and tamarind chutney over the yogurt according to your taste.
  5. Sprinkle sev on top for crunch and garnish with extra coriander leaves if desired.
