Ingredients

  • Gluten-free puris - 8 pieces
  • Plain yogurt - 200 grams
  • Chickpeas (cooked) - 100 grams
  • Cucumber (finely chopped) - 50 grams
  • Tomato (finely chopped) - 50 grams
  • Red onion (finely chopped) - 30 grams
  • Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 piece
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Mint chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine plain yogurt, chaat masala, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
  2. In another bowl, combine cooked chickpeas, cucumber, tomato, red onion, green chili, and coriander leaves. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  3. Take a puri and gently press down to create a small cavity. Fill each puri with the chickpea mixture.
  4. Top each filled puri with a spoonful of the yogurt mixture, then drizzle mint chutney and tamarind chutney over the top.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with additional coriander leaves if desired.
