Ingredients
- Thick vegan yogurt - 200 grams
- Boiled potatoes - 150 grams
- Grated carrot - 50 grams
- Chopped spinach - 50 grams
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
- Green chili, finely chopped - 1 small
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Rice flour - 3 tablespoons
- Oil for shallow frying - 3 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the thick vegan yogurt, boiled potatoes (mashed), grated carrot, chopped spinach, and chopped coriander leaves.
- Add ginger paste, chopped green chili, cumin powder, chaat masala, and salt to the mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Gradually add rice flour to the mixture to help bind it together. Adjust the amount of rice flour as needed until the mixture can hold its shape.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small, round patties or kebabs.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the kebabs in the pan.
- Fry the kebabs for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, remove the kebabs from the pan and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or your favorite dipping sauce.
