Ingredients

  • Thick vegan yogurt - 200 grams
  • Boiled potatoes - 150 grams
  • Grated carrot - 50 grams
  • Chopped spinach - 50 grams
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chili, finely chopped - 1 small
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Rice flour - 3 tablespoons
  • Oil for shallow frying - 3 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the thick vegan yogurt, boiled potatoes (mashed), grated carrot, chopped spinach, and chopped coriander leaves.
  2. Add ginger paste, chopped green chili, cumin powder, chaat masala, and salt to the mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Gradually add rice flour to the mixture to help bind it together. Adjust the amount of rice flour as needed until the mixture can hold its shape.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small, round patties or kebabs.
  5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the kebabs in the pan.
  6. Fry the kebabs for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Once done, remove the kebabs from the pan and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with mint chutney or your favorite dipping sauce.
