- Okra - 200 grams
- Plain yogurt - 150 grams
- Tomato - 1 medium, chopped
- Cucumber - 1 small, diced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Regular salt - to taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Wash the okra thoroughly and pat dry. Trim the edges and cut them into 1-inch pieces.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add the chopped okra. Sauté for about 10 minutes until they are cooked and slightly crispy. Remove from heat and let them cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt, chopped tomato, diced cucumber, finely chopped onion, green chili, and coriander leaves.
- Add cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and lemon juice to the yogurt mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Once the okra has cooled down, gently fold it into the yogurt mixture. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving for a refreshing taste.
