- Potatoes - 300 grams
- Coconut yogurt - 200 grams
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black salt - to taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Pomegranate seeds - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)
Steps
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let them cool slightly before peeling and cutting into bite-sized cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the coconut yogurt, cumin powder, chaat masala, coriander powder, green chili, regular salt, black salt, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth.
- Add the boiled potato cubes to the yogurt mixture and gently fold to coat the potatoes evenly with the sauce.
- Transfer the Dahi Aloo to a serving dish and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
