Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 300 grams
  • Coconut yogurt - 200 grams
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black salt - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Pomegranate seeds - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let them cool slightly before peeling and cutting into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the coconut yogurt, cumin powder, chaat masala, coriander powder, green chili, regular salt, black salt, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Add the boiled potato cubes to the yogurt mixture and gently fold to coat the potatoes evenly with the sauce.
  4. Transfer the Dahi Aloo to a serving dish and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
