- Quail eggs - 8
- Coconut flour - 50 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 (for egg wash)
- Coconut oil - for frying
Steps
- Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil and carefully add the quail eggs. Boil for 4 minutes, then transfer them to an ice bath to cool down.
- Once cooled, gently peel the quail eggs and set them aside.
- In a bowl, mix together the coconut flour, almond flour, turmeric, coriander, cumin, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the egg to create an egg wash.
- Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Dip each peeled quail egg into the egg wash, then roll it in the flour mixture until well-coated.
- Carefully place the coated quail eggs in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Make sure to turn them occasionally for even cooking.
