Ingredients

  • Fresh corn kernels - 200 grams
  • Spinach leaves - 150 grams
  • Potato (boiled and mashed) - 100 grams
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 50 grams
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Oil - for brushing

Steps

  1. In a pan, sauté the chopped onions in a little oil until they turn translucent.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chili to the pan, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed onions, fresh corn kernels, spinach leaves (chopped), mashed potato, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Mix all the ingredients well and form them into kebab shapes (around 8 kebabs).
  5. Coat each kebab lightly with breadcrumbs for added texture.
  6. Preheat your grill or barbecue. Brush the kebabs with a little oil.
  7. Grill the kebabs on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and slightly crispy.
  8. Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
