Ingredients
- Fresh corn kernels - 200 grams
- Spinach leaves - 150 grams
- Potato (boiled and mashed) - 100 grams
- Onion (finely chopped) - 50 grams
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Oil - for brushing
Steps
- In a pan, sauté the chopped onions in a little oil until they turn translucent.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chili to the pan, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed onions, fresh corn kernels, spinach leaves (chopped), mashed potato, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix all the ingredients well and form them into kebab shapes (around 8 kebabs).
- Coat each kebab lightly with breadcrumbs for added texture.
- Preheat your grill or barbecue. Brush the kebabs with a little oil.
- Grill the kebabs on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
