- Powdered jaggery - 60 grams
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped almonds - 20 grams
- Chopped walnuts - 20 grams
- Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a pan, heat the ghee over medium heat and add the grated coconut, sautéing for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the roasted chickpea flour to the pan and mix well, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture is slightly golden.
- Stir in the powdered jaggery and water, mixing until the jaggery melts and combines with the coconut and flour mixture.
- Add the cardamom powder and chopped nuts, mixing thoroughly until everything is well incorporated.
- Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool slightly until it's manageable to handle.
- Once cool enough, grease your hands with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small round balls (ladoo).
- Allow the ladoos to cool completely before serving.
