- Curry leaves - 5-6 leaves
- Oil (coconut or any cooking oil) - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a blender, combine the grated coconut, green chilies, ginger, roasted chana dal, salt, cilantro, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth, adding more water if necessary to achieve your desired consistency.
- Transfer the chutney to a bowl.
- In a small pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the curry leaves to the pan and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.
- Pour the tempering over the prepared chutney and mix well.
