Ingredients

  • Fresh grated coconut - 100 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped nuts (cashews, almonds) - 30 grams

Steps

  1. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee over medium heat.
  2. Add 100 grams of grated coconut and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in 50 grams of almond flour and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, mixing well.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of honey and 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder, mixing until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly on a greased plate, pressing it down firmly.
  7. Top with 30 grams of chopped nuts, pressing them gently into the mixture.
  8. Allow the barfi to set for at least 15 minutes before cutting it into squares or diamond shapes.
