Ingredients

  • Flattened rice (chura) - 100 grams
  • Plain yogurt - 200 grams
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped fresh fruits (banana, apple, or seasonal fruits) - 100 grams
  • Roasted peanuts - 30 grams
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Chopped fresh coriander (optional) - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, add the flattened rice (chura) and lightly rinse it under water for a few seconds to soften.
  2. Drain the water and let the chura sit for a couple of minutes to become fluffy.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the plain yogurt with honey, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  4. Add the chopped fresh fruits and roasted peanuts to the softened chura.
  5. Pour the yogurt mixture over the chura and fruits, and gently mix until everything is well combined.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander if desired, and serve immediately.
