Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Bell pepper (mixed colors) - 1 cup, diced
  • Cucumber - 1 cup, diced
  • Red onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Cut the paneer into bite-sized cubes and lightly fry them in olive oil until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced bell pepper, cucumber, red onion, tomato, and green chili.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, soy sauce, chili powder, chaat masala, and salt to create the dressing.
  4. Add the fried paneer cubes to the bowl of vegetables and pour the dressing over the top.
  5. Toss gently to combine all the ingredients well.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
