Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza base - 1 (30 cm diameter)
  • Vegan paneer - 200 grams, cubed
  • Bell pepper (red or green) - 1 medium, sliced
  • Onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green chilies - 2, finely chopped
  • Tomato sauce - 100 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Cilantro - for garnish
  • Vegan mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, grated

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add sliced onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
  3. Add the cubed vegan paneer and sauté for another 5 minutes until slightly golden.
  4. Stir in the bell pepper, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza base.
  6. Add the sautéed chili paneer mixture on top of the sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the grated vegan mozzarella cheese evenly over the toppings.
  8. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing.
  10. Serve hot with extra chili flakes or a drizzle of olive oil if desired.
