- Water - as needed

Steps
- In a bowl, mash the canned chickpeas until slightly chunky.
- Add the chickpea flour, chopped onion, green chili, grated ginger, and chopped cilantro to the mashed chickpeas.
- Mix in cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt until well combined.
- Gradually add water to the mixture until a thick batter forms, ensuring it's not too runny.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the oil, flattening them slightly to form fritters.
- Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fritters and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve hot with green chutney or yogurt dip.
