  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon

  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime (juiced) - 1 medium

Steps

  1. Rinse the brown rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook it according to package instructions, typically in 2 cups of water for about 25 minutes.
  2. While the rice is cooking, heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and diced bell pepper, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the peppers are softened.
