Ingredients

  • Fresh chenna - 200 grams
  • Sugar - 100 grams
  • Semolina (rava) - 2 tablespoons
  • Ghee (clarified butter) - 2 tablespoons
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped nuts (cashews and almonds) - 2 tablespoons
  • Raisins - 2 tablespoons
  • Milk - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, crumble the fresh chenna until smooth.
  3. Add sugar, semolina, ghee, cardamom powder, baking soda, and milk to the crumbled chenna. Mix well until fully combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped nuts and raisins into the mixture.
  5. Grease a small baking dish with ghee and pour the chenna mixture into it, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before cutting into pieces.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
