- Urad dal flour - 50 grams

- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon

- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Ajwain (carom seeds) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 100-150 ml
- Oil - for deep frying
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rice flour, urad dal flour, sesame seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and ajwain.
- Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth and pliable dough forms. The dough should not be too sticky or dry.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Using a chakli maker or piping bag fitted with a star nozzle, fill it with the dough.
- When the oil is hot, carefully squeeze the dough into circular shapes directly into the oil, forming spirals.
- Fry the chaklis in batches until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
- Remove the fried chaklis with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Allow them to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
