- Plain yogurt - 200 grams
- Water - 200 ml

- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green chili - 1 small, finely chopped (optional)
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a blender, combine the plain yogurt and water, and blend until smooth.
- Add the cumin seeds, salt, black pepper, ginger, green chili (if using), and lemon juice to the yogurt mixture.
- Blend again for a few seconds to mix in the spices thoroughly.
- Taste and adjust salt or lemon juice as needed.
- Pour the chaas into glasses and garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
