- Olive oil - 15 ml (1 tablespoon)
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh basil - 10 grams, chopped
- Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, ground flaxseed, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Gradually add the water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
- On a parchment-lined baking sheet, flatten the dough into a round pizza shape, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until slightly golden.
- In a separate bowl, mix the chopped cattail shoots, corn kernels, red onion, and cherry tomatoes together.
- Remove the crust from the oven and evenly distribute the vegetable mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle the chopped basil over the vegetables.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.
