  • Green Chili - 1, slit (optional)
  • Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black Pepper - to taste
  • Fresh Coriander - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the bell pepper and carrot, and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender.
  5. Add the shredded cabbage and green chili (if using), and stir well to combine with the other vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle turmeric powder, salt, and black pepper over the mixture, and stir-fry for another 5 minutes until the cabbage is cooked but still crunchy.
