Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Cooked chicken breast - 150 grams, diced
  • Butter chicken sauce - 100 grams
  • Low-fat mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Bell pepper - 1 small, diced
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced cooked chicken and pour in the butter chicken sauce, stirring to coat the chicken evenly. Cook for about 5 minutes until heated through.
  4. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  5. Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  6. Spread the butter chicken mixture evenly over the pizza base.
  7. Sprinkle shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken mixture.
  8. Add thinly sliced red onion and diced bell pepper evenly over the cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Drizzle Greek yogurt over the top and sprinkle chopped cilantro before slicing and serving.
