  • Unsalted butter - 50 grams
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Coconut milk - 100 ml
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Tomato puree - 100 grams (no sugar added)
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and add them to the pan, cooking until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in the tomato puree, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper, mixing well to coat the chicken.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream and coconut milk. Stir well and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
