Ingredients
- Ground buffalo meat - 500 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Celery - 1 stalk, finely chopped
- Carrot - 1 small, grated
- Buffalo wing sauce - 60 ml
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground buffalo meat, almond flour, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped celery, grated carrot, buffalo wing sauce, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased loaf pan.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
