  • Whole wheat pita bread - 2 pieces
  • Low-fat mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded

  • Cucumber - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Bell pepper - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Green chili - 1 small, finely chopped (optional)
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Mint chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Yogurt - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place the whole wheat pita bread on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the pita bread and lightly brush to coat.
  4. Spread the mint chutney evenly over each pita.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the chutney.
  6. In a bowl, combine the chopped tomato, cucumber, onion, bell pepper, coriander leaves, and green chili if using.
  7. Add chaat masala and salt to the vegetable mixture, and mix well.
  8. Distribute the vegetable mixture evenly over the cheese on each pita.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
  11. Drizzle yogurt over the top before serving.
