Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Chura (flattened rice) - 100 grams
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to create the marinade.
  3. Add the paneer cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. While the paneer is marinating, soak the chura in water for 5 minutes, then drain it to soften slightly.
  5. After marination, take each paneer cube, roll it in the softened chura to coat evenly.
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and place the chura-coated paneer cubes gently in the pan.
  7. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the chura is golden and crispy.
  8. Once cooked, garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
