  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and chop them into small pieces.
  2. In a pan, heat 1 teaspoon of oil on medium heat and add the chopped spinach.
  3. Sauté the spinach for about 3-4 minutes until wilted, then add the chopped onion, green chili, and tomato.
  4. Cook the mixture for another 3-4 minutes until the onions become translucent.
  5. Add salt and cumin powder, mixing well, then remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the flattened rice with the sautéed spinach mixture.
  7. Drizzle lemon juice and sprinkle chaat masala over the mixture, adjusting salt to taste.
  8. Toss everything together gently until well combined.
