Steps
- In a bowl, soak the flattened rice in water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat mustard oil over medium heat.
- Add finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in grated ginger and chopped green chili, and sauté for another minute.
- Add the cooked chickpeas, salt, and roasted cumin powder, and mix well.
- Fold in the soaked and drained flattened rice carefully to combine all ingredients.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes while stirring gently to ensure everything is heated through.
- Remove from heat, and add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves before serving.
