  • Flattened Rice (Chura) - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely sliced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, chopped
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Green Chilies - 2, slit
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red Chili Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Mustard Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Cilantro (Coriander Leaves) - for garnish
  • Water - 1 cup

Steps

  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan until it starts to smoke slightly, then reduce the heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  3. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and slit green chilies, and sauté for another minute.

  9. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the chura absorbs the flavors.
  10. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
