- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Grated coconut (optional) - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, and let them splutter.
- Add the finely chopped green chilies, grated ginger, and chopped garlic. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the grated corn, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender.
- Add the chopped fresh coriander and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
- If using, add the grated coconut and mix thoroughly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with extra coriander and a slice of lemon if desired.
