  • Fresh coriander (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Grated coconut (optional) - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, and let them splutter.
  2. Add the finely chopped green chilies, grated ginger, and chopped garlic. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the grated corn, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender.
  4. Add the chopped fresh coriander and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
  5. If using, add the grated coconut and mix thoroughly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with extra coriander and a slice of lemon if desired.
