- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh coriander - for garnish
Steps
- Wash and dry the okra thoroughly, then trim the tops and cut them into 2-inch pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt to create a marinade.
- Add the okra pieces to the marinade and coat them well. Allow them to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or a grill pan over medium heat and brush it lightly with oil.
- Place the marinated okra on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender and slightly charred.
- Remove the okra from the grill and garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
