- Okra - 150 grams
- Yogurt - 200 grams
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Wash the okra under running water and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Cut the okra into small pieces, about 1 cm in size.
- In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the chopped okra to the pan and sauté for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are cooked and slightly crispy.
- Sprinkle in the coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes to combine the spices. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth. Add the sautéed okra mixture to the yogurt and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves, and serve chilled or at room temperature.
