- Pizza dough - 200 grams
- Okra (bhindi) - 150 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Green chili - 1, slit
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Pizza sauce - 100 grams
- Vegan cheese - 100 grams (optional)
- Bell pepper - 1/2, sliced
- Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F).
- Wash and trim the okra, then slice them into 1 cm pieces.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, add the chopped onions, and sauté until translucent.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chili, and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced okra, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the okra is tender and slightly crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped tomato and cook for another 2-3 minutes, then add garam masala and cilantro. Mix well and set aside.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly on the rolled-out dough.
- Evenly distribute the bhindi masala over the sauce, followed by sliced bell pepper and mushrooms.
- If using, sprinkle vegan cheese on top.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, slice, and serve hot.
