Ingredients

  • Potatoes (medium) - 2
  • Paneer (grated) - 100 grams
  • Yogurt - 2 tablespoons
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Oil - for brushing

Steps

  1. Wash and boil the potatoes in salted water until tender but firm, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let them cool.
  2. Once cooled, carefully scoop out a portion of the inside of each potato to create a hollow space for the filling.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated paneer, yogurt, garam masala, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, chopped coriander, and lemon juice. Mix well to form the stuffing.
  4. Stuff each hollow potato with the paneer mixture, pressing it down gently to ensure it's packed tightly.
  5. Preheat the grill or tandoor to medium-high heat.
  6. Brush the stuffed potatoes lightly with oil and place them on the grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are evenly charred and heated through.
  7. Remove from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
