- Spinach leaves - 50 grams, chopped
- Potato - 1 medium, grated
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for frying
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpea flour, water, grated potato, chopped spinach, chopped onion, green chili, garam masala, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan, flattening them slightly to form fritters.
- Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve hot with chutney or yogurt on the side.
