- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Beef bone broth - 500 milliliters
- Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic, diced bell pepper, and diced carrot to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the ground bear meat, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the diced tomato, cumin powder, chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
- Pour in the beef bone broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- After 30 minutes, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. If the chili is too thick, add a bit more broth or water.
