Ingredients
- Grated carrots - 100 grams
- Finely chopped bell pepper - 50 grams
- Finely chopped onion - 50 grams
- Boiled and mashed potatoes - 100 grams
- Chopped fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Besan (gram flour) - 2 tablespoons
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Skewers - 4
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine grated carrots, chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, boiled and mashed potatoes, and chopped coriander leaves.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, chaat masala, garam masala, red chili powder, salt, besan, oil, and lemon juice to the vegetable mixture, and mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer to form a cylindrical seekh shape.
- Place the skewers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the seekh with a little more oil for better browning.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning them halfway through, until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
