- Plain yogurt - 150 grams

- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, lemon juice, garlic paste, ginger paste, tandoori masala, cumin powder, paprika, turmeric, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight for best flavor.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the marinated chicken thighs on it. Drizzle with oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with a side of salad or whole grain rice.
