- Vermicelli - 100 grams
- Unsalted butter - 30 grams
- Sugar - 50 grams
- Milk - 250 ml
- Almonds (chopped) - 30 grams
- Cashews (chopped) - 30 grams
- Raisins - 20 grams
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cinnamon powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a frying pan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter and add the vermicelli. Roast until golden brown, stirring frequently, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted vermicelli, sugar, milk, chopped almonds, chopped cashews, raisins, cardamom powder, salt, vanilla extract, and cinnamon powder. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and slightly firm to touch.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
