Ingredients

  • Vermicelli - 100 grams
  • Unsalted butter - 30 grams
  • Sugar - 50 grams
  • Milk - 250 ml
  • Almonds (chopped) - 30 grams
  • Cashews (chopped) - 30 grams
  • Raisins - 20 grams
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a frying pan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter and add the vermicelli. Roast until golden brown, stirring frequently, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted vermicelli, sugar, milk, chopped almonds, chopped cashews, raisins, cardamom powder, salt, vanilla extract, and cinnamon powder. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and slightly firm to touch.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
