Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Bell pepper (mixed colors) - 1 cup, diced
  • Red onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt to make the marinade.
  3. Cut the paneer into 2.5 cm cubes and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Add the diced bell peppers and onion to the marinade and mix gently to coat.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Thread the marinated paneer and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between them.
  7. Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the paneer is golden and the vegetables are slightly charred.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
