- Raw papaya - 200 grams, grated
- Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 100 ml
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the grated raw papaya, baking soda, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder, chopped green chili, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, and salt.
- Add 100 ml of water to the mixture and stir until everything is well combined.
- Grease a baking dish with 1 tablespoon of oil and transfer the papaya mixture into it, spreading it evenly.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
